Hannah has been helping Mommy with the spring cleaning - - and some of it is ACTUALLY not hindering my progress! :) She loves to help me in the kitchen by cleaning out the tupperware cabinet and the drawer with the rubber/plastic cooking utensils. This involves a lot of taking everything out and putting some of it back - maybe even where it came from :) She's getting better every day at cleaning up a mess when I ask her too, though, and that makes Mommy SOOOOO happy! Hannah is also a pro when it comes to folding laundry - or rather, unfolding laundry that's already folded and carrying it away to rooms unknown to hide it in a random drawer or under a bed. . . . . This week we learned that she likes the sweeper :) She was enthralled with pushing it back and forth under the table, and was very focused on the job at hand!
This weekend we head out for our extended visit with family and friends back in Minnesota - yay!! We have a lot of fun activities planned, so we should have some great pictures and stories to post when we get back home. :)
Hannah has discovered a passion for gardening!! Now that she no longer thinks it's bad to walk in the grass, she's taken to "raking" it :) She also helped Daddy plant some new flowers in the front yard with her shovel - - I'm not fully convinced that showing her how to dig with that thing was a great idea, but I guess we'll find out!!
Our lilac bushes in the backyard are starting to bloom! I guess putting a garden fance around them to keep the dog from tearing them up every other day gave them the time they needed to really thrive :)
