Happy Mother's Day!

Since Sundays are busy days for us, Daddy and the kids took Mommy for a wonderful Mother's Day dinner in White Rock a day early :) We decided to try a new place called The UK Experience - it was SO good!!!! We will most definitely be going back :) After a wonderful meal, we walked a couple of storefronts down to our favorite gelato shop and had a yummy dessert, and we were all in luck because they had all three of our favorites ready to go (Mommy likes the mint-chocolate chip gelato, Daddy always gets the pistachio gelato, and Hannah had a cup of mango sorbet). After all the great food, it was time for a leisurely walk down the pier, where Hannah had fun watching the boats, the birds, the fish, and even a few starfish!

Hannah insisted on pushing Michael down the pier ALL BY HERSELF!! :)

We tried to get a cute "Mother's Day" picture - but Hannah wasn't having it! She was WAY more interested in everything else there was to look at to be bothered sitting still for a picture :)

So instead, we got one of just Mommy and Michael!

All Michael, All the Time

Here are a few of the latest pictures of Michael:

Happy Baby!

Sleepy Baby!
Happy Baby (and Daddy)!Sleepy Baby!
I'm starting to notice a pattern here. . . . . :) Michael has been super busy lately practicing his rolling, babbling, and bubble blowing. He has started rolling over to sleep on his tummy, which has meant sleeping longer at one time - yay!! He has also been drooling up a storm and trying chew on anything he can get his hands on, which has meant a LOT of slobbery blankies, toys, and fingers (his, Mommy's, and Daddy's!).

Jump Around Fun

We spent the morning at the Jump Around Fun Zone yesterday, and Hannah showed Daddy what a big girl she was by climbing up the stairs to the slide all by herself!

Wheeeeeeee!

And Weekend Visitor Makes Three. . . .

Last weekend we got a peek at what life would be like with 3 kids - a little girl from our church spent a few days with us while her parents had to go out of town. Sara, or "Hah" as Hannah calls her, is almost exactly 1 year younger than Hannah and 1 year older than Michael, and the weekend served as a good rerminder of both how much Hannah has grown up in the last year and what we have to look forward to with Michael in the near future :)

Sara and Hannah got along well, with the biggest problem being sharing - of course! Hannah started the weekend out by taking toys away from Sarah and saying "mine!" After I explained that we needed to share our toys, Hannah began taking toys away from Sara and saying "No, Hah, SHARE!" :) By the end of the weekend, however, each girl had laid claim to her own favorite toys and they were both okay with that.
Playing dress-up together - Hannah helped Sara get her lady bug wings on.
Playing with sidewalk chalk
After Sara came back inside, Hannah "helped" Daddy stain the fence. . . . . Bath time buddies! They both had cups and were quickly pouring water all over eachother!
Racing in the backyard
Hannah had a ton of fun with Sara, and for several days after she had returned home, Hannah was asking "where Hah?" I think she'll be very excited to see her friend again at church this weekend :)
