Our first month with Meghan

I can't believe that my sweet baby girl is already 1 month old!!  We've had a lot to learn as a family this month - Hannah and Michael have learned that if Mommy offers snuggle time during one of Meghan's brief naps, they should take it  : )  and that if they wait until Mommy sits down to feed Meghan before asking for help, they will need to wait.  Daddy has learned that right around the time Mommy is trying to cook dinner, Meghan wants to snuggle with someone  : )  and if he lets that someone be Mommy, then he becomes responsible for dinner!  And Mommy has learned to juggle flaming swords . . . .    : )  well - not quite.  But I have learned that I can get all 3 kids fed, dressed, and out of the house on time for things like church and siblings class, and that I can get them all fed, bathed, and in bed on my own when need be.  It's been quite the month for learning!!  : )

Meghan is 1 month old!
Meghan all dressed up for Easter (meant to post this with the other Easter pictures . . . )

All bundled up and snoozing in the stroller on her first trip to the park

Michael at the park - picking dandelions and blowing the seeds : )

Meghan Grace

It's been months since I've posted new pictures - I hadn't realized just how long it had been until I went to make this post introducing our newest arrival!!  Rather than try to catch up on all that I've missed (and stay perpetually behind), I'm going to skip straight to April.  :)

Meghan Grace arrived on April 8th at 8:22 am.  She was 8 lb 14 oz, and was 22 inches long.

Hannah was SO excited to finally get to hold her baby sister!!  :)

Meghan's first trip in the car - when we got home, Michael sat on the floor by her seat and read books with her until Mommy thought to get the camera out - then he yelled no and ran away  :)  Go figure.

Hannah and Michael are always sure they know what Meghan wants - Michael gave her the nuk, and Hannah tucked her in with a blanket and bunny  ;)

Meghan was less than thrilled about bath time!!

We were blessed to have Grandma Cindy staying with us - taking care of Hannah and Michael, cooking, and cleaning the house while Mommy rested and cuddled with Meghan.  Grandma and Daddy took Hannah and Michael to visit the Aquarium, and Grandma and Hannah had a couple of special outings to see the tulips and to see a movie together.

Shortly after Grandma Cindy's visit ended, we were joined by Grandpa Gehry and Grandma Jan, who came just in time for Holy Week. They also enjoyed a fun day with Hannah and Michael at the aquarium, spent a day exploring the tulip festival, and joined us for our church's annual Seder meal, Good Friday service, and Easter service.
