It's ok, He's alive again

Hannah has been learning about the Easter story, and was very excited when, at church this past week, she heard Pastor talking about the same stories we've been sharing at home.  On Palm Sunday, she waved her palm and asked where the donkey was. . . . . he needed to walk on her palm branch  :)  At the Seder meal, she took communion at the end of the meal and "reminded" me that we were sharing a special meal with Jesus.  On Good Friday, we walked into the sanctuary and saw a small cross with Jesus on it sitting on the alter.  She asked me what it was and I told her.  "Oh yeah, a cross with Jesus. . . He died on that you know."  Yes, Hannah, He did.  "His mommy was really sad - but it's ok, He's alive again."  And this morning, after repeatedly reminding me that Jesus was alive again, she responded to Pastor's "He is risen" with a "He is risen 'deed"  :)
Our Easter season has also had some fun egg hunts and egg painting - which both kids thought was great fun!
Michael had no trouble figuring out what to do at the egg hunt!
Hannah's strategy was different from other kids. . . rather than collect as many eggs as she could, she picked one up, opened it, ate it, then looked for another  :)
